<p>A product, such as a golf or rugby tee or a clay pigeon, is made by compressing together or moulding grass or other plant pieces to form a rigid or semi-rigid structure. Dried grass, together with any additive, is extruded by an extruding machine, and the resulting extrusion is then ground to a small size. Weighed batches of the ground particles are then supplied to a rotary press which makes use of two complementary stamping tools to form a number of products. The resulting products are naturally degradable and do not have to be picked up after use.</p> |
