Vibration damper giving shock-absorption for electronic components mounted on e.g. remotely radio-controlled helicopter

A vibration damper for an electronic component (6) has a pair of cups (5) with elastic lips (5a). These fit over circular ridges(3b) on the inside of the end faces (3) of a cylindrical container (2), the two end faces thus providing the support for the component. The ridge are tapered inwards. The base of each the cup has a number of small projections (5b) pointing towards the end face but not touching them in the rest position, because of the lip. The other side of each cup has a moulded opening (5d) to incorporate the end of the component. The component may be an electronic gyroscope.
