PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating type rice cooker which prevents the unequal heat retaining at the time of heat retaining and prevents the possibility of the damage of an induction coil and the electric shock by contact with this induction coil. SOLUTION: The bottom of an inside frame 3 housing a pan 12 is provided with the induction coil 6 for induction heating of this pan 12 and this induction coil 6 is provided thereon with an insulating plate 5 having an electrical insulating character. Nearly the entire part of the lower side of the induction coil 6 is covered with a coil cover 7 consisting of a resin material.
