PURPOSE:To improve sealability as well as to dispense with precision machining in such a way that a gasket is arranged on the fitting surfaces of a cylinder and of a cylinder head while at the same time ring-shaped bosses are formed on either side of the fitting surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A gasket 22 is interposed between the fitting surface 28 of a cylinder 10 and the fitting surface 30 of a cylinder head 16 in order to provide sealing. Basides, ring-shaped bosses 24, 26 are formed on either side of the fitting surfaces of the cylinder 10 and of the cylinder head 16 so as to strengthen holding force of the gasket 22 and to improve sealability. |
