<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the sure air vent and stable pouring of hot water by intermittently and forcibly discharging the air generated in a hot water storage tank when water is boiled by an opening/closing means. SOLUTION: An opening/closing means 8 is opened according to the ON/OFF action of a heat source 5 or the air volume at each prescribed interval. The interval or frequency of the opening/closing time can be appropriately changed. A solenoid valve 8 is intermittently and forcibly opened by commanding such conditions from a controller 9 of the solenoid valve. When the solenoid valve 8 is opened, air together with hot water is discharged from an open end to a water discharge port 7 through a pipe 6. Scales such as calcium ion adhered to the pipe wall are frequently discharged together with air and hot water, and no scales are fixed to the pipe wall, and hot water of excellent quality is provided. Because hot water which is intermittently discharged from the pipe 6 is used as the sealing water of the water discharge port 7, no bad smell is generated even when water is not used for a long time, and when a faucet 11 is opened, hot water can be smoothly supplied without including air.</p> |
