An overvoltage detecting system which solves the decreased efficiency of a central processing unit (CPU) that a conventional technique has, detects each phase's peak value and selects maximum phase to compute its one phase, and includes first to third load circuits (1, 2, 3); first to third operating amplifiers (OP1 to OP3); a setting circuit (5); a peak holding part (9); an analog switch (8); a multiplexer (4); a CPU (6); and a trip coil control part (7).
