PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control method that can realize further improvement regarding display techniques for recipe information.SOLUTION: By a display control method for controlling images to be displayed by a display device, a computer of the display device is caused to execute work determining steps (S1030 and S1080) of determining a first work to be done out of a plurality of works to be sequentially done in cooking, a guide image displaying step (S1050) of displaying guide images including work information indicating contents of the first work and material information indicating names of materials to be made available for use in the cooking. By the guide image displaying step, if any material processed in another work different from the first work is used in the first work, the name of the pertinent material included in the material information is replaced with material processing information indicating that the pertinent material has undergone the pertinent processing (S1120).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
