FIELD: medicine, endocrinology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with a two-fold measuring a cutaneous conductivity in a patient at an empty stomach before an intake of sugar-decreasing preparations in representative points of acupuncture channels according to the technique of routine vegetative test, then comes determination of fluctuations' frequency of cutaneous conductivity against average values and at its higher values at channels of RP 4, F 12, P 8, U 7 it is possible to predict I type diabetes mellitus, and at its average values at channels of RP 4, F 12, and its higher values at channels of P 8 and U 7 one should predict II type diabetes mellitus. EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy to determine a type of diabetes mellitus.
