摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic induction multi-phase type digitizer high speed scanning method capable of eliminating the necessity of much time for the definition of an absolute position on which an exciting pen is arranged even when the number of detection loops is increased. SOLUTION: Immediately after starting the digitizer, an absolute area including the position of the exciting pen 5 is defined from induction voltage generated on a detection loop by scanning connected to a switch circuit 6 while successively selecting detection loops S1, S2,..., S(N-1) corresponding to respective absolute areas B1, B2,..., B(N-1) each of which is formed by (L-1)th and L-th (L is an integer >=2) selector conductors out of plural selector conductors X1, X2,..., X(-1) arranged in parallel at a fixed pitch and a detection loop corresponding to each defined absolute area is stored in a memory M. Thereafter an absolute area including the position of the pen 5 is defined from induction voltage generated on a detection loop by scanning connected to the circuit 6 while successively selecting detection loops from a detection loop corresponding to the (M-A)th (A is an integer >=1) address of the memory M through the circuit 6).</p>
