PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eraser rubber filled with a ferroelectric metal powder, feed from surface roughness and improved in properties such as erasing properties, adsorptivity and darkening resistance. SOLUTION: This eraser is prepared by adding a specified amount of a ferroelectric metal powder to an eraser rubber stock containing a plastic matrix and a plasticzer. It is desirable that the mean particle diameter of the ferroelectric metal powder is 1-25μm. It is desirable that the amount of the ferroelectric metal powder used is 5-35wt.%. It is desirable that the ferroelectric metal powder is an Fe-Si alloy powder or an Fe-Cr alloy powder.
