<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove toner and the additive of the toner from the surface of an image carrier without causing cost rise and the deterioration of image quality by disposing a cleaning blade abutting on the surface of the image carrier between an electrification position by a contact type electrifying means and an exposure position by an exposure means. SOLUTION: A cleaning blade device 3 is equipped with the cleaning blade 30 abutting on the surface of a photoreceptor drum 1 between the electrification position H and the exposure position Q. The blade 30 is disposed in posture that the edge part of its tip part 30a abuts on the surface of the drum 1 to face to an upstream side in a drum rotating direction A. After passing through a rotary contact type electrifier 2, the drum 1 passes through the device 3. In such a case, the rest of residual toner T00 adhering to the surface of the drum 1 and impalpable powder such as the additive are removed by the blade 30. Thus, the surface of the drum 1 is cleaned.</p> |
