PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aerosol for exterminating creeping insect pests better than a conventional product in aspect of immediate effects and persistence. SOLUTION: This aerosol is obtained by including a mixture comprising a liquid formulation containing 2,4-dioxo-1-(2-propynyl)imidazolidin-3-ylmethyl chrysanthemate as an active ingredient and a propellant in a pressure-resistant container having a spraying port. The weight ratio of the liquid formulation to the propellant is (7/3) to (9/1). The container is designed so that the volume average particle diameter of sprayed particles at a distance of 30 cm from the spraying port is 70-120μm when spraying the mixture from the aerosol.
