PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed type fluid machine for the coil end part of an electric motor to which a reinforcing member reinforcing strength against the injection gas from a suction pipe, is fitted. SOLUTION: This closed type fluid machine is so constituted that an electric motor 2, a discharge chamber 14 connected with a discharge pipe 15, and a compression part 3, are disposed in a closed container 1, a stationary scroll 4 in which spiral shaped laps 4b erected in the inner surface of an end plate 4a, and a turning scroll 5, are mutually meshed with each other in the compression part so as to be formed into a compression chamber 6, a discharge hole 4c is formed, connecting the compression camber with the discharge chamber, the turning scroll is revolved while rotation is being prevented, and concurrently, a shaft 7 is provided, to be driven by the electric motor, is supported by a thrust bearing 11 formed in a main frame 8 so as to be freely slid, and a suction pipe 16 faced to the coil end part 2c of the electric motor 2 is connected with the closed container. In this case, a reinforcing member 17 reinforcing the strength against the injection gas (indicated by an arrow head (a)) from the suction pipe, is fitted to the coil end part.
