PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an additive for an electrostatic charge image developing toner capable of giving an electrostatic charge image developing toner having enhanced releasability and excellent in blocking resistance while retaining such performances as fixability, image reproducibility, filming resistance, development durability and grindability and to obtain an electrostatic charge image developing toner excellent in said various characteristics. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains an additive for an electrostatic charge image developing toner comprising a styrene oligomer (A) containing 0.5-50 wt.% aliphatic component and a polyolefin wax (B) having 100-125 deg.C melting point measured by DSC, a bonding resin (C) and a colorant. The proportion of the additive is 1-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. bonding resin C.
