PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device for electrode for spot welding, by which oscillating can be prevented without making the pressure force of the electrodes large, and chips can be smoothly discharged. SOLUTION: In the grinding device for electrode for the spot welding, on which recessed fitting parts 13 having shapes compatible respectively with the tip shapes of electrodes W are formed in center parts on both surfaces of a holder 11 to be rotated and driven by a proper rotation drive means, and machining blades 12 for machining and reshaping the tip parts of the electrodes W are held respectively on both recessed fitting parts 13, the both machining blades 12 are arranged opposite to each other at point symmetrical position to the rotary axial line of the holder.
