PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey an article without damaging and falling down the article in transferring the article from one conveyor to another conveyor. SOLUTION: This article conveying device comprises a first conveyor 52 fox forwardly conveying an article C2 and feeding out the article while forwardly dropping the same from a front edge of a conveying path by self-weight, and a second conveyor 54 for receiving the article C2 fed out from the first conveyor 52. A forwardly downwardly inclined sliding plate 53 is mounted to guide the article C2 fed out from the first conveyor 52 to the second conveyor 54 in a state that the article C2 is slid and dropped by self-weight. The second conveyor 54 has a bottom guide 112 for receiving and guiding a bottom of the article C2. The bottom guide 112 has an inclined part 112a inclined at an angle same as an inclination angle of a bottom face of the article C2 dropped on the sliding plate 53. The bottom of the article C2 dropped on the sliding plate 53 is received by the inclined part 112a.
