PURPOSE: A noise removing device in a color signal processing apparatus is provided to prevent an impulse noise from being applied to a CTI filter to keep picture quality from being deteriorated due to the noise. CONSTITUTION: A noise removing device includes a detector(300), a data status detector(304), and a data transmission processor(305). The detector detects a medium value(med_res) corresponding to a medium size of sampled values of each of a luminance signal and a color difference signal and a medium value(med_sample) located at the center of a predetermined region. The detector is constructed of the first line memory(301), the second line memory(302), and a comparator(303). The data status detector detects if data currently being inputted is actual data or noise using the medium value, the medium value, and a predetermined offset. The data transmission processor transmits data obtain by applying the status detection result sent from the data status detector and the medium values output from the detector to a predetermined conditional equation to a CTI filter.
