PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of synthesizing a large quantity of a tube like aluminosilicate rapidly at a low cost. SOLUTION: The synthesis of the tube like aluminosilicate is performed in a batch type while the concentration is increased stepwisely by forming a precursor from a solution prepared by mixing a silicon compound solution having the solution concentration of 1-1,000 mmol with an aluminum compound solution having the solution concentration of 1-2,000 mmol to have a prescribed silicon/aluminum molar ratio, removing coexistent ions in the solution and after that, dispersing the recovered precursor in pure water to prepare a precursor suspension, dispersing the precursor suspension in pure water into a prescribed concentration, adding an acid and heating to synthesize the tube type aluminosilicate and repeating to add the precursor into the solution containing the synthesized tube like aluminosilicate and to heat. Thereby, addition of acid is unnecessary when the precursor is added again, the solution is made to have high concentration while the concentration of anions, which is to be an inhibition factor to the synthesis of the tube type aluminosilicate, is suppressed and the desired tube type aluminosilicate is separated and recovered by separating the formed and deposited solid matter by centrifugal separation, filtration or the like to recover it.
