PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for preventing the contamination of the operation part of an endoscope, enabling an operator to stably hold the operation part of the endoscope to prevent the contamination of the hand of the operator holding the operation part. SOLUTION: In the cover 1 for preventing the contamination of the operation part of the endoscope by covering the operation part 10 of the endoscope having insertion parts 11 and 12 connected to the lower end thereof, the cover 1 is formed into a bag shape covering the whole of the operation part 10 and a hole 2 permitting the insertion parts 11 and 12 to pass is formed at the lower end of the cover 1 and a sleeve part 3 into which the hand is inserted so as to directly hold the operation part 10 is formed on the rear surface of the cover 1.
