PURPOSE: A medical image partition device is provided to be capable of utilizing visible information of each dimension when partitioning an image of each dimension and making partition tools and drawing tools operate organically. CONSTITUTION: A user interface(100) provides an interface with a user. A volume data input part(300) receives medical image information as volume data displayed by a three-dimensional position function. A two-dimensional image display control part(400) receives the volume data, generates a two-dimensional image with respect to a predetermined position of the medical image and partitions the two-dimensional image. A three-dimensional image display control part(500) receives the volume data to generate a three-dimensional image with respect to the medical image. The three-dimensional image display control part partitions the three-dimensional image to transfer the partitioned result to the two-dimensional image display control part. The three-dimensional image display control part receives position information and the partitioned result of the two-dimensional image and displays received values as the three-dimensional image. A control part(200) controls the two-dimensional image display control part and the three-dimensional image display control part based on an operation signal input via the use interface.
