<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable computer having an opening/closing device easy to operate. <P>SOLUTION: The portable computer includes a main body, an LCD assembly body rotatably combined with the main body and the opening/closing device for opening/closing the LCD assembly body with respect to the main body. The opening/closing device includes a fixed hook provided on the LCD assembly body, a movable hook that is provided on the main body and can move between a locking position where the main body is locked with the fixed hook and a locking release position where the main body is released from the fixed hook, and an operation part having a projected part that mutually interacts with a depression button exposed outside the main body and a through-bore that is extended from the depression button and is formed on a plate face of the movable hook so as to move the movable hook to the locking release position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
