PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which imaging can be carried out under stabilized state even when an object is photographed by one hand. SOLUTION: Since a lens 14a can be directed toward an object without bending a wrist unnaturally even when a photographer grasps the casing part 2 of the imaging apparatus by one hand, burden on the photographer is lessened and movement of the hand can be suppressed even when the imaging apparatus is grasped for a long time. Thickness at the casing section can be controlled even when a long optical system is employed using an optical system of high pixel and high variable magnification. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
