RECORDING METHOD, DECODING AND COPY CONTROL METHOD FOR AUDIO DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem of copy protection when transmitting both of audio data of a two-channel system and a narrow band system and high quality audio data of a multi-channel system and a wide band system. SOLUTION: Audio signals A of the two-channels or multi-channels relating to the same audio source are selectively inputted to an A/D converter 1, and A/D-converted with different sampling frequencies and the different number of quantization bits to be recorded in a disk. In a read-in area of the disk, a first CGMCAP code for managing copying of the two-channels and a second CGMCAP code for controlling copying of the multi-channels are recorded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
