<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize light distribution facilitating confirmation of a route to come without loss of visibility from an opposite car due to shortage of light in a front direction without bringing about shortage of light volume for both sides, by augmenting beam utilization rate against a light source by twice through adoption of a two-times reflecting face, forming overall light distribution properties by dividing into an upper, middle and lower stage light distribution properties and cobining these, and by moving a most suitable part for improving visibility at driving on a winding road. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular headlamp is composed of a light source 2, a reflecting face 3 for forming a first light distribution shape of a diagonally cut up part, and constituted of a two-times reflecting face of an oval system primary reflecting face and a parabolic system secondary reflecting face, a reflecting face 4 for forming a second light distribution constituted of two-times reflecting face of the first reflecting face forming an oval system light distribution state below horizon in a wide range, and a parabolic system secondary reflecting face, and a reflecting face 5 for forming a third light distribution to form a light distribution state below horizon in a narrow range. Both a swirling direction and a frontal direction can be irradiated with enough light amount as a vehicular headlamp 1. In that case, at least either the reflecting face for forming the first light distribution or the reflecting face for forming the third light distribution is made rotatable in a horizontal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
