<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to make a camera with built-in flash small in size as a whole since a changeover mechanism for driving force of a flash driving motor or the like is needed in the camera with built-in flash. <P>SOLUTION: A first motor 11 is disposed near a spool 10 and the rotational motion of the first motor 11 is transmitted through a spool gear 111 disposed coaxially with a coupling gear 110 and a spool 10 and is transmitted through a cam gear to an up-and-down mechanism of a flash case. The changeover of the transmission of the rotational motion of the first motor 11 to the changeover of the up-and-down mechanism is performed by a first changeover means 14. The changeover of the rotational motion of the first motor 11 to the spool 10 and the transmission thereof to the up-and-down mechanism are performed by a first changeover means 14. The transmission mechanism of the rotational motion of the first motor 11 inclusive of the means 14 is arranged above the spool 10. A second motor 21 is disposed near the base surface of a cartridge chamber 20. The rotational motion of the second motor 21 is transmitted to a rewinding fork 22 of the cartridge chamber 20 and is transmitted to driving means for quick return mirror 6, a diaphragm and a shutter.
