<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable pole for an electric gate, which contributes to easy installation of the electric gate, is produced at a low cost, and arbitrarily controls traveling of a gate body. <P>SOLUTION: The door-stop movable pole 42 has a power-receiving terminal 50 arranged therein. The power receiving terminal 50 is connected to a booster transformer 60 which is then connected to a control board 70. Then a home position sensor 81 as a position detecting means and a slow sensor 82 are connected to the control board 70, and both the sensors 81, 82 are arranged on a lower edge of the door-stop movable pole 42. Specifically the home position sensor 81 is located about the center of guide rails 30 extending in parallel with each other, and the slow sensor 82 is located slightly sideways from the center.
