<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod-feeding device which can change the speeds of both thermal spraying rods without changing the shapes of a feeding roller and a pressure roller, can keep the speed ratio constant, and can easily change the speed ratio. <P>SOLUTION: The rod-feeding device comprises: one motor; first and second feeding mechanisms consisting of one or two feeding rollers and pressure rollers for feeding the thermal spraying rods; a first drive gear which is rotated by the motor and meshes with the first feeding roller; and a second drive gear which is connected to the first drive gear and meshes with the second feeding roller. When the feeding speed of one thermal spraying rod is set to be different from that of the other rod, the number of teeth of each drive gear is set to correspond to the feeding speed for each thermal spraying rod, and the shafts of both drive gears are connected by a universal joint so that each drive gear can be installed at a position capable of meshing with each feeding roller, in a state of having fixed the positions of shafts of each feeding roller and each pressure roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
