摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move smoothly perform starting or traveling to reverse traveling direction, and to suppress a full discharge of a capacitor device such as a secondary battery even while traveling to the reverse traveling direction, in a vehicle having an internal combustion engine and an electric power/motive power input/output device outputting at least a part of motive power outputted from the internal combustion engine accompanied by input/output of electric power and the motive power to an axle side as driving force advancing the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When traveling an ascent gradient to the reverse traveling direction, driving of an auxiliary machine is stopped, and a charge/discharge requirement electric power Pb* is set such that it becomes a small charging electric power as the ascent gradient &theta; is enlarged (S150). When starting, a value zero is set to the charge/discharge requirement electric power Pb* within a range wherein the battery is not fully discharged (S180). Thereby, a torque acting to forward traveling direction outputted from an engine side so as to charge the battery is made to be small, and a torque acting to the reverse traveling direction is made to be large to allow the smooth starting or traveling in the ascent gradient in the reverse traveling direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
