<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a library apparatus to determine whether discharge operation of a mobile medium is normal or not. <P>SOLUTION: A library controller 17 of the library apparatus 11 judges whether the name of backup software notified from a server device 12 is the same with that of the backup software 19 which has performed writing of data of the recording medium of a discharge target. Further, the library controller determines whether process content in the discharge operation of the backup software agrees with the process content of the registered backup software 19.
