Electrical system for a programmed loom operating cycle - stops the loom in a prescribed position after a weaving fault

System of operating a working cycle programme of a weaving loom, has choice of the extent of the cycle by means of prescribed pulses, co-operating with the machine operating system and supplied therefrom. The system consists of a drive pulse excitation element, a forming unit for the prescribed drive pulses, a synchronising unit, a logic summation device, a logic summation pulse-forming element, and an executive unit. All these elements cooperate in the programmed cycle and comprise the following: (a) the drive pulse excitation element has an auxiliary relay, (b) the prescribed drive pulse forming unit incorporates a condenser and is connected by the active contacts of the auxiliary relay to the first diode of the logic summation device, (c) the synchronising unit includes a transducer in or out of contact with signals from the position of the working parts of the loom which is of known construction, (d) the logical summation device incorporates first and second diodes, (e) the logic summation pulse-forming element comprises a transistor, and (f) the executive unit includes a rheostat. The synchronising unit is connected to the second diode while the output of the logic summation device is connected to the base of the transistor of the logic summation pulse-forming element, the output of which is connected to the rheostat of the executive unit. Gives control of the loom movement in each working cycle bound up with the elimination of weaving faults, e.g. arising from yarn breakage.
