1463781 Adjustable hinges KARL LAUTENSCHLAGER KG 9 Jan 1975 [16 Jan 1974] 938/75 Heading E2F In an adjustable hinge one arm is formed of two superimposed upper (1) and lower (7) parts releasably secured together by a screw 11 so that the upper and lower parts can be released to permit relative adjustment in a direction parallel to the hinge pin axis. As shown in Fig. 1, the upper part 1 is formed with two hinge pin holes 2, 3 for the hinge links of a link quadrilateral (not shown) and inside the upper part 1 are arranged two rows of ribs 4, 5 which engage with a row of ribs 9, 10 in the lower part 7. When the required adjustment has been made, the parts are secured together by means of the screw 11. The lower part 7 of the arm may be fixed to a mounting plate 14 through the intermediary of a clamping plate 16. The clamping plate 16 is adjustable by means of screws 17 and 17' located in holes in the lower part 7. For Figures see next column |
