<p>Clamp for balcony clothes drier comprises U-section head and base portions. These are fixed to the hand rail of the balcony by means of bolts which pass through holes in the bottoms of the head and base portions. The upper edges of the base portions are stepped, sloping downwards towards the centre of each side plate. The side plates of the head portions extend beyond the bottoms of the head portions at least at one end, and each include a guide slot which extend obliquely upwards and outwards and which receives the bolt of the associated tensioning arm in sliding relationship. Pref. the side plates of the head portion extend beyond the bottom at both ends, and are provided with guide slots in the region of both ends.</p> |
