A coin operated vending machine has housing, goods storage section, circular wall and dispenser with selecting arrangement. The goods storage section (14) rotates about a horizontal axis. It is accommodated in a housing (10) and consists of a hub (20) and a number of radially arranged separating walls (18). A circular wall (12) is placed on the outer periphery of the separating walls (18) which forms a number of storage pockets (16) for the goods and an opening to the lowest of the storage pockets (16). The goods are dispensed from the lowest storage pocket (15) by means of a selector (84) with one or more cutouts.
