<p>Wood or plastic tooth pick or cocktail stick comprises a coating and/or impregnation which dissolves in use, pref. over only part of the surface and consisting of flavourings and/or disinfectants and/or medicaments. The pick or stick pref. has one blunt and one pointed end. The coating allows the user to see whether the tooth pick has already been used, preventing re-infection from the saliva on the pick. The coating or impregnation encourages use of the tooth pick, and intensifies the action of the tooth pick w.r.t. mouth hygiene.</p> |
