The set of multipart printed forms is joined together along one side and the various individual forms can be detached in accordance with requirements. Each individual form (11, 12, 13, 14) is pierced with several holes along that side and the sheets are assembled in the required order, together with the necessary carbon paper interleaves (21, 22, 23). A hot melt adhesive is injected into the holes to fill these and form a complete assembly. The holes (5a, 5b, 5c) are punched into the individual forms on a selective basis, passing through two or more sheets, depending on the manner in which the forms are intended to be detached.
