<p>The bending mechanism adjustment roller has a fixed support about which a tubular roller sleeve rotates, together with hydrostatic pressure units on the support pressing the sleeve against a second roller. The units have pressure chambers connected via a passage in the support to a hydraulic pressure source with pump. The pump (24) with driving motor (25) is mounted on an end of the support protruding from the sleeve. The motor can be of the variable-speed type, with a regulator (32) to which the metering signal is fed from a pressure detector (30) at the pump outlet.</p> |
