Tuyeres for fluid hydrocarbon injection in - blast furnaces

The tuyere encloses an easily and rapidly mounted and dismounted fluid hydrocarbon burner and comprises (a) an elongate exterior envelope whose length is at least equal to the furnace wall thickness and whose interior profile is large enough to allow rapid insertion and removal of the burner, (b) burner centering means in the longitudinal axis of the tuyere and which pref. coincides with a gas outlet axis and (c) burner fixing means which allow quick release of the burner.
