PURPOSE:To reliably stack a substance without an impact upon the substance by using an apparatus moving up and down while clamping the substance on both sides and providing a member for supplying the substance from the bottom by means of a lifter. CONSTITUTION:In the lower apparatus, a substance is stopped by a stopper mounted on the end portion of a conveyer 1 and located by a locating device 3 to be lifted by lifter 4. The upper apparatus comprises forks 5 for supporting the lower part of the substance, backplates 11 of claming devices 6 and cylinders for operating the backplates, which is adapted to move up and down along guide rails. Thus, since the substance is pushed up from the bottom by the lifter 4 to perform stacking operations, even a precision machine or fragile substance can be stacked safely. |
