PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive recording sheet having a high thermal respondence and capable of forming a clear-cut, thick recording by providing a heat-sensitive coloring layer containing a specific coloring component and two or more hot-meltable substances having a specific melting point range on the surface of a supporter. CONSTITUTION:In a heat-sensitive recording sheet formed by providing a heat- sensitive coloring layer containing a leuco dye and an acid substance capable of coloring the leuco dye when heated as coloring components on a supporter, said heat-sensitive coloring layer contains a hot-meltable substance (A) having a melting point of 70-100 deg.C and a hot-meltable substance (B) having a melting point of 105-150 deg.C. The substance (A) used includes N-stearylcarbamoylbenzene (m.p. 86-87 deg.C), N-stearyl-o-methoxycarbamoylbenzene stearic acid maide (m.p. 97-98 deg.C), etc., and also the substance (B) used includes dimethyl phthalate (m.p. 141-142 deg.C), oxymethyl stearamide (m.p. 107-110 deg.C), etc. |
