Plate mounted on the outside of the vehicle for the marking of omnibuses when they are used to convey schoolchildren or disabled people and for marking omnibuses as night-parking vehicles in closed localities; attached to a square base-plate, which is to be attached to the vehicle, on the horizontal central axis, are at least two rectangular plates with surface areas which are at least half as large, attachment of the said rectangular plate being by means of a turning flap device and being implemented in such a way that when the latter is inverted, the symbols on the plates become visible, so that the marking obtained is appropriate to the intended use and complies with traffic regulations and operating regulations.
