A movable, travelling ramp for loading and unloading vehicles is described, the supporting structure of which consists of two lateral profile supports which extend in a longitudinal direction and a plurality of transverse supports connecting them. A longitudinal groove is moulded on to each of the mutually facing sides of the lateral profile supports. The ends of the transverse supports are each provided with groove blocks which can be inserted and fastened in the said grooves. A structure of this type has the advantage that the entire ramp can be dispatched and transported in a dismounted condition, without taking up too much space. Assembly can be carried out in a simple fashion.
