A seat belt fastening with five points on a child seat which has a stirrup piece 10 and a bar 16. The stirrup piece is in engagement, at its branches 12, in openings 24 made in the chassis 25 of the child seat and is held in engagement with the chassis by the inherent elasticity of the stirrup piece, by the edges of the openings which are housed in external grooves 13 located in the branches. The web of the stirrup piece extends along one side of the chassis in order to fix the shoulder strap part 22 to this chassis. The bar is in engagement over notches 13 located inside the branches of the stirrup piece and extending substantially parallel to the web of the stirrup piece on the other side of the chassis. <IMAGE>
