<p>Convertible floor element having the form of a mechanically rigid box associated with at least one articulated support element such as a seat for a show, capable of being retracted into this box, the principal upper face (4) of the box (2) consisting at least partially of at least one panel (4a) corresponding to the location of a support element (3) and articulated in rotation so as to be capable of lifted up and outwards in the manner of a lid; the support element (3) comprising a substantially plane bearing surface (6) and an underframe (8) and being capable of being folded flat; the panel (4a) forming a lid in the closed position, irrespective of the state of the support element; characterised in that the underframe (8) of the support element (3) is fixed in rotation inside the box (2), the upper face (4) of the box is provided with two slots (12) to permit the underframe to pass through when the element (3) is lifted up and unfolded and when the lid is folded down, and each unfolded element (3) occupies an overall surface area which, in a vertical projection, does not exceed the location on the ground allocated to it. <IMAGE></p> |
