<p>A pyrotechnic device comprises a receptacle(1) which contains a charge(4) of pyrotechnic material and an electric fuse(5) to initiate the charge. The receptacle is formed of a plastics housing(2) which has an area formed of lines of weakness(10) adapted to rupture on activation of the pyrotechnic material and a closure(3) having an integrally moulded projection which defines a screw-thread, electric contacts(27,28) being associated with the projection and trapping the bared ends of wires(23,24) associated with the fuse(5). <IMAGE></p> |
