The container is designed to hold a one litre carton of fluid. It has a hinged lid (2) with a rotary axis (9) and a snap fit closure (3,4) and two pairs of pointed tubes (5,6) and an outlet (7) and seal (8). One pair of tubes (6) is used to let air enter the carton and the other is used to let the fluid out of the carton through the outlet (7). The tubes pierce the carton on closing the lid. The rubber seal (8) seals the lid (2) against the carton. USE/ADVANTAGE - The carton can be easily brought into a ready-to-pour position.
