1. A method for establishing an optimal path, comprising: in case of a terminal mobility event,
determining, by a mobility management entity MME, whether a path corresponding to a packet data network PDN connection is an optimal path; in response to determining that the path is a non-optimal path, sending, by the MME, a query to a local gateway L-GW to determine whether there are data to be transmitted, such that the L-GW queries about whether there are data to be transmitted; in response to determining that there are no data to be transmitted, initiating, by the MME, a PDN connection reestablishment flow; or determining, by a local gateway L-GW, whether a path corresponding to a packet data network PDN connection is an optimal path; in response to determining that the path is a non-optimal path, querying, by the L-GW, about whether there are data to be transmitted; in response to determining that there are no data to be transmitted, initiating, by the L-GW via a mobility management entity MME, a PDN connection reestablishment flow. |
