In addition to the water heater (9) and the hot water storage tank (3) the installation comprises several tap points (6). These are coupled to the hot water storage tank via a delivery tap line (5). The hot water storage tank is located near the tap points and is coupled via connecting lines (7,8) to the water heater of a circulation type, which is mounted in a separate chamber (10), pref. in the attic (11) of the building. Typically the hot water storage tank is fitted in a partitioned location (4), pref. in the bathroom.
