FIELD: SHF equipment, SHF heater is used for heating (pasteurization, sterilization) of liquids (water, milk, juices, beer, wine, pastes etc), it is also used as final loading or permanent attenuator of SHF generators with continuous power up to 75 kW. SUBSTANCE: aim is to create apparatus allowing to exercise high rate of liquid heating - up to 350 deg/s and to act on liquid by high level of density of SHF power - up to 1000 W/cm and more, that provides high quality of treated products (safety of thermolabile components and native properties). SHF heater of liquid has metal section of rectangular waveguide of A x B cross-section and length of 1.3 λ, with l - wavelength in space. Dielectric tube with low losses ( quartz glass) is inserted in waveguide at angle of 45 deg to its wide walls. Diameter of tube D = 0.14 A. U-shaped bulge is mounted on power wide wall of waveguide and secures SHF generator with heater of liquid. Value of voltage standing wave ratio of heater is no more than 1.25, fading in SHF heater during milk pasteurization is at least 20 dB. Design of heater allows for increase of fading to connect in series several SHF heaters. EFFECT: apparatus allows to exercise high rate of liquid heating, to act on liquid by high level of density of SHF power, to provide high quality of treated products. 1 dwg |
