The invention relates to an aqueous pharmaceutical composition free of arginine, comprising etanercept and a stabilizer, wherein the stabilizer comprises about 100-120 mM glutamate and wherein the composition has a pH of 6.0 to 6.6. The composition may comprise one or more additional components selected from a buffer, a tonicity modifier, and an excipient. The present invention provides stabilized etanercept formulations free of arginine. |
