PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat exchange of rotor windings, and to cause creepage blocks to have strength large enough to withstand centrifugal force. SOLUTION: A ventilation hole 10c, formed in a creepage block 9, and ventilation holes 10a which are formed in a rotor winding 7 and are different in shape from the ventilating hole 10c formed in the creepage block 9, are connected smoothly by a ventilating hole 10a formed in the outermost turn 7a of the rotor winding 7 being in contact with the creepage block 9. Consequently, the face pressure of the creepage block 9 is kept sufficiently, and the flow of a cooling wind 11 flowing on the rotor winding 7, creepage blocks 9 and wedges 8 in the radial direction of a rotor core 1 becomes smoother, and the cooling wind 11 is increased, and efficient heat exchange becomes possible.
